The Problem:
1) "As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one." Romans 3:10
2) "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
The Consequences:
1) "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
2) "He who believes in the Son has life; and he who does not believe in the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John 3:36
The Broad Perspective:
1) "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. " Romans 1:18
2) "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:20
The Solution:
1) "But God demonstrates His love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
2) "For God so loved the world that He gave is only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
The Critical Response:
1) "If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." Romans 10:9-10
The Promised Assurance:
1) "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
2) "Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame. " Romans 10:12
