Vacation Planning ?

Why do people every where spend so much time planning and saving for a vacation that may only last a week or two. Why is it that most people don't even want to invest five minutes on where they will spend eternity.

"You don't know what will happen tomorrow.

What is life?

You are a mist that seen for a moment and then disappears." James 4;14

In today's society/culture most people plan some type of vacation. Traveling to the beach, relative's homes or different countries stand out as appealing destinations.

People end up saving tremendous amounts of money to go out and "have a good time", which often includes excessive drinking, drug abuse, promiscuity and many other worldly actions.

"For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and the pride of possessions-is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away

along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." 1 John 2 : 16-17

What happens if you die during your vacation?

Have you considered the real consequences of eternity with out God's forgiveness?

Remember we are already condemned to Hell.

"Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light, for fear that their deeds will be exposed. John 3: 18-20

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God." John 3: 21

Let us all be wise and understanding and review carefully how we have been thinking and acting out our life here on earth.

We all need forgiveness and help out of our sins. Only through Jesus Christ can one be forgiven and delivered from the power of sin.
